Radium B.C 2014

Updated: Jul 26, 2020

I've been to B.C a few times when I was younger with my mom, dad, and brothers but this trip that I will post about is me and my wife's first trip together to B.C.

Our first camp site was at a camp ground near Banff, Alberta. The camp site was heavily tree'd and gave it a very comfortable feel. There was also a very nice crystal clear river that flowed pretty close to where we were camping, we were even able to go for a walk in the river which was really cold though!

This is also in Banff National Park. This road has some very beautiful view's of the lake with the mountains in the back ground.

We rented these bikes from a local bike shop in Banff and took them on some trails on the mountains! We didn't do any extreme riding, just an enjoyable bike ride.

I always strive to get off the beaten path and see things that not everyone see's. So I found a river bed with no water flowing down it. I went far as I could before the boulders started getting too big! We didn't see anything too amazing but got high enough to have a beautiful view behind us.

Look at us typical tourists taking selfies at Lake Louise.

Such a tourist place......but I love it every time I come here, it's so beautiful.

On our way into Radium, B.C. The road going through the mountains is really cool.

Checking out the river right beside where we stopped there.

We obviously had to stop in at the Radium Hot Springs, it's essentially just a swimming pool but I guess its fed by the hot springs.

We got ourselves some ice cream while at the Radium Hot Springs.

Headed to our camp ground in Radium there was a bunch of these goats on the road and in the ditch.

Relaxing at the camp site, playing poker with rocks haha!

To finish off an awesome trip, we took a hike up a mountain! Thanks for reading about our adventure! these blogged adventures will only get better!
